Got my nails did...

So I have been wanting to try these Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail stickers for a few years now but never wanted to give in and spend the 8 bucks to get em.  Well I finally gave in and bought some.  I wanted a manicure before I went on my trip but wanted to do it myself so I figured I would try these.  And I finally jumped on the accent nail band wagon too.

I used Revlon "Cherries In The Snow" for the base color and the Sally Hansen "Kitty Kitty" for the accent nail.  (Better known as the leopard print ones)

The kit comes with step by step instructions (who reads those anyway), 16 different sized nail stickers, a cuticle stick, and a two sided nail file.

It actually was pretty easy to use.  All  you do is peel the top and bottom layer off of the polish strip and stick it onto your nail.  Now it is very important to stick these onto a clean nail.  I used nail polish remover to clean my nails and the strip seemed to stick just fine.

The only thing that was difficult was trying to file down the nail polish strip.  It didn't work... at all.  So I just used nail clippers to cut it down and then shaped it with the file.

So now I'll give you the finished product
Drum roll please........

 ta ta :-)

And I even painted my toesies

I think I did a pretty good job.

So anyway I hope that each of you have a wonderful day!

I'll leave ya with this beautiful picture I took last night.
You didn't know I was a photographer did you? Ha... thank you Instagram ;-)

Happy Thursday loves!

    1. I got them for around 8 dollars at Wal Mart. I haven't found any cheaper ones though :( But they are so much fun! I would suggest putting clear polish over them so they stay a little bit longer :-)

  2. Those look so good!!!! I have been wanting to try them for a while too, but can't bring myself to shell out $8. I may just have to do it and splurge one day.
