my go to breakfast

when i started my health kick a few months back, i quickly realized that the easiest and fastest way to get my nutrition throughout the day was through smoothies.


making a smoothie each morning as a part of your daily routine not only saves you time and money, but it's also delicious!

smoothies are a great way to get your daily serving of fruits and veggies too.

here are a few of my favorite smoothie recipes:

orange-lemon creme smoothie
3/4 cup of lemon yogurt (i use yo-plait)
1/2 of an orange sliced
1/4 cup orange juice
1 scoop vanilla protein power
1 cup crushed ice

pina-colada smoothie
*my favorite*
1 cup crushed pinapple
1/4 cup coconut milk
2-3 drops coconut extract
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup crushed ice

very berry smoothie
1/4 cup strawberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 cup low fat milk
1 cup crushed ice

watermelon craze smoothie 
1 cup chopped seedless watermelon
1/4 cup orange juice
1 packet of truvia
1 cup of ice

  1. mmmm, the watermelon one sounds good! I make one every morning & drink it with my breakfast! A cup of mixed blueberries & strawberries, a cup of almond milk, & a few ice cubes! I've been adding in some Chia seeds lately too!
